Chenowith Elementary School is seeking a part-time Media Assistant to support the media center operations in The Dalles, Oregon. You will assist students and staff in locating resources, manage the media inventory, and coordinate with teachers on AV needs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience with children, with duties including clerical tasks, scheduling, and basic AV setup. The position is 3.75 hours, part-time, on-site at the Chenowith campus.

• High school diploma or GED and experience working with children.

Responsabilidades

• Answers inquiries regarding materials or refers patrons to media center staff for assistance.
• Assists students, staff, parents and patrons in accessing media center resources.
• Maintains current inventory of all audio-visual materials and equipment.
• Coordinates with staff and supplier for scheduling, ordering and receiving of audio-visual materials.
• Coordinates with staff for scheduling audio-visual equipment needs.
• Orders supplies and recommends materials and equipment as needed.
• Operates media center equipment to perform assigned responsibilities.
• Trains and supervises student aides.
• Maintains a positive and productive working environment in the media center.
