Job summary

Tarina of Cypresswood, a Saga Senior Living community, is hiring a part-time Medication Technician in Spring, TX. The role offers $14.50-$15.00 per hour with credit for experience and is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

As a Medication Technician you will administer prescribed medications, maintain records, monitor health changes, and support residents with daily routines while ensuring safety and dignity in a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 required.
• Minimum 1 year of senior caregiving experience.
• Medication technician certification/training required per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate medication records, monitor for side effects or changes in residents' health, and promptly report any concerns to licensed nursing staff
• Deliver attentive, resident-focused care with daily routines including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment while encouraging independence and preserving each resident's dignity
• Provide additional support for residents with higher care needs, using a calm, patient approach to foster engagement and emotional well-being
