Job summary

Johnson Memorial Hospital in Connecticut is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical Unit to deliver compassionate care for adult patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions.

You will assess patients, monitor vitals, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to monitor neurological status, cognitive function, and other therapies during the stay.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Valid RN License in Connecticut.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
• 1+ years Med/Surg experience (preferred).
• BLS/CPR certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Med-Surg nurses assess patients, monitor vitals, administer orders and medications, and document progress.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and self-care.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff for monitoring neurological, cognitive, motor and other therapies.
