Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is seeking a Meat Cutter for Piggly Wiggly in Lancaster, WI. This part-time role involves processing, packaging, and labeling meat products while ensuring safety and cleanliness. You will support store operations and assist with achieving sales and shrink goals.

Responsibilities include maintaining proper temperatures, stocking cases, and providing attentive customer service in a fast-paced environment. Prior meat-cutting experience in retail is preferred.

• Attendance is required and reliable
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math; attention to safety and quality

Responsibilities

• Process, prepare and package meat products in compliance with company policy and regulations.
• Maintain proper temperatures in cooler, prep area, freezer, and cases.
• Keep the work area clean and rotate stock to minimize shrink.
• Assist stores when staff is absent as directed.
• Promote sales through courteous customer service.
• Operate listed equipment safely and efficiently.
