Mollie Stone’s Markets is seeking a Part Time Apprentice Meat Clerk at our Greenbrae location. The ideal candidate is customer service driven and adaptable to various day-to-day tasks. The position may become Full Time for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include meat preparation, weighing, pricing, and providing friendly service while suggesting meal ideas. Union position with competitive pay and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic knowledge of products in the department.
• Basic meat cooking procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Strong work ethic and integrity.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and some holidays.
• Local candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, weigh, and price meat products for sale.
• Provide prompt, friendly, knowledgeable customer service.
• Offer suggestions and ideas of how to prepare and use the products.
• Work quickly, efficiently, and safely, including safe food handling procedures.
• Assist in unloading and stocking merchandise.
