Job summary

Harris Teeter in High Point, North Carolina is seeking a part-time Meat/Seafood Clerk to process, package, and stock meat products according to Meat Standards, while keeping work areas clean and providing friendly customer service during unloading and stocking. When assigned, you will also perform duties of a seafood clerk.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, able to read and follow simple instructions in English, and complete required training with the team to boost customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent experience.
• Quiet reading and writing in English; ability to follow simple instructions.
• Willingness to complete required training and work with the team.

Responsibilities

• Process, package, and stock meat products according to Meat Standards.
• Clean work areas and maintain sanitation throughout the shift.
• Provide customer service while unloading stock and reloading salvage.
• Perform duties of seafood clerk when assigned.
• Assist in other duties as needed to support sales and customer satisfaction.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
