Job summary

Tri-Valley's Nutrition Services in Franklin is looking for a part-time Meals on Wheels Driver to join our compassionate team. You will deliver nutritious meals, perform quick wellbeing checks, and help older adults and people with disabilities remain healthy and independent at home.

The role averages 15 hours every other week. Responsibilities include packing trays, loading routes, maintaining records, and reporting changes to the Nutrition Center Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, and required insurance coverage.
• Must have a motor vehicle.
• Accurate record keeping skills.
• Ability to work well with older adult consumers and handle emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Count and pack food trays for home delivery.
• Count and pack hot and cold food products into carriers.
• Assist coordinator with wrapping bread, packaging desserts, etc.
• Deliver meals to homebound participants and maintain route records.
• Maintain paperwork and report emergencies or changes to the coordinator.
• Clean meal delivery equipment daily.
• Other duties as assigned.
