Job summary

Tarrant County College District (TCCD) is seeking an Adjunct Instructor of Mathematics at the Trinity River Campus. The role involves teaching and supporting students across varied schedules and modalities, including Dual Credit and Online courses.

Reporting to the TR Mathematics department, the Adjunct will use the college’s resources and LMS to deliver instruction, assess outcomes, and provide timely feedback while maintaining student engagement and success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Mathematics or related discipline (Math, Physics, Engineering, Math Education, or Statistics).
• Option 1: Master’s with Math focus; Option 2: Master’s with 18 graduate hours in Math. Degree must be from a regionally accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes based on varied schedules and modalities (Dual Credit, On-Campus, Online, Weekend College).
• Prepare and deliver instruction using the Master Syllabus and LMS.
• Communicate regularly with students and college officials.
• Pursue activities to enhance subject matter expertise and teaching skills.
• Prepare assignments and assessments to achieve learning outcomes.
• Create an active classroom environment conducive to student learning and success.
• Maintain attendance records and certify enrollments by deadlines.
• Evaluate student performance per department standards and post grades weekly.
