Job summary

Mathnasium in Martinez is looking for passionate instructors to transform the lives of K-12 students through a rewarding teaching experience. Candidates should possess exceptional math skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a desire to learn. Instructors will utilize the Mathnasium Method™ for teaching in-center and online, assess students' progress, and enjoy a supportive work culture with opportunities for advancement. Compensation ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, with consistent part-time hours available after school and on weekends.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate math proficiency via a literacy test.
• Experience with teaching or tutoring is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible part-time hours after school and on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Teach using the Mathnasium Method™ in-center and/or online.
• Deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress throughout sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational tools.
