Job summary

Think Academy Canada is seeking a Part-Time Math Tutor to deliver engaging, age-appropriate math lessons using our curriculum. Teach Pre-K to middle school, manage classes up to 16 students, and provide timely feedback to students and parents.

The role is hybrid, with weekend and weekday afternoon availability, and requires at least one semester commitment. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (education or STEM preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above, all majors welcome; Education or STEM preferred.
• Prior math teaching experience is not required but a plus.
• Super passionate about teaching and education with a service mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly responsible and good with kids.
• Willing to commit to at least one whole semester.
• Available to work weekday evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Teach mathematics to students from Pre-K through Middle school.
• Actively engage and manage a classroom of up to 16 students.
• Prepare and deliver lessons using Think Academy's curriculum and guidance.
• Grade homework and provide essential teaching-related services.
• Communicate with students and parents, offering timely feedback.
