Job summary

Think Academy is seeking a part-time math tutor to support elementary students in Bellevue, WA. You’ll work 12-20 hours per week, mainly on weekends and weekday afternoons, using our curriculum and teaching guidance.

The role involves assisting in classroom activities, giving feedback and extra practice, and communicating with parents. A bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred, with teaching experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above; Education or STEM majors preferred.
• Passion for teaching kids and math.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to commit to at least one semester (Spring, Summer, or Fall).
• Available to work weekday evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Teach mathematics to students from Pre-K through MS grades.
• Engage and manage a classroom of up to 16 students.
• Prepare and deliver lessons using Think Academy's curriculum and guidance.
• Grade homework and provide feedback to students.
• Communicate with students and parents with timely suggestions.
