Job summary

Mathnasium of Dublin, CA is seeking enthusiastic math instructors to teach elementary through high school topics. College students and graduates are encouraged to apply, with after-school and weekend hours available.

You will deliver Mathnasium Method instruction, work with a small team, assess progress, and help create a positive learning environment for 2nd–12th grade students. Compensation ranges from $15 to $23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Local applicants only (sf bay area).
• Exceptional math skills through Algebra I and Geometry.
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to interact with students professionally to keep them focused.
• Energetic and confident personality.
• Must be able to work on location in Dublin, CA.
• Ability to teach upper level high school math courses.
• Previous teaching or student-facing experience is a plus.
• Available at least 2 weekdays out of the 6 days open.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.
