Job summary

Tutor Doctor in California is seeking a knowledgeable Tutor to support high school students in Honors Pre-Calculus and related advanced math, including Algebra II and trigonometry, in-person with flexible hours. Ideal for teachers, math or engineering majors, or experienced tutors who want to make a meaningful impact.

After-school availability (typically 3-7pm) and reliable transportation for in-home sessions in Woodland Hills are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Pre-Calculus, Algebra II, and trigonometry (Honors-level a plus).
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation for in-home sessions in Woodland Hills and surrounding areas.
• Professional, punctual, and dependable work habits.
• Minimum 3-month commitment.
• After-school availability preferred (typically 3-7pm).
• Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in a math, engineering, or education-related program preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, 1:1 tutoring in Honors Pre-Calculus and related advanced math courses.
• Help students strengthen problem-solving skills and build a strong foundation for Calculus.
