Job summary

University of Alaska Anchorage invites applications for Adjunct Faculty in CTC Mathematics and Statistics. This is a part-time, adjunct instructor position supporting the department’s offerings including Tier 1 Quantitative Literacy courses and 0- and 100-level math.

Positions are hired on a semester basis through an adjunct pool; applications reviewed as needed. Minimum salaries are set by the AAUP-AT/AFL-CIO agreement and may vary with education and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in field related to the position, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 2 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge of accepted instruction methods.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Public speaking skills.
• Customer service skills.
