Job summary

Community College of Vermont (CCV) is seeking qualified part-time mathematics instructors to join a statewide pool of faculty across 12 locations and online. In this role you may teach one to three courses per semester, covering a range from Foundations of Math to Calculus I/II.

Requirements include a Master’s degree and demonstrated ability to teach both online and in-person. Compensation is per 3-credit course, with opportunities to teach fall, spring, and summer terms.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree required.
  • Graduate coursework or experience relevant to the above mathematics subjects.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach online and in-person settings.

Responsibilities

  • Teach upper-division and lower-division mathematics courses, including Foundations of Math, Math & Algebra for College, Intermediate Algebra, Applied Math Concepts, Finite Math, College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, Calculus I and II.
  • Deliver instruction for Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
