Doña Ana Community College (DACC) is seeking a Part-Time Section Mathematics faculty member to teach and deliver courses at the Doña Ana Campus. Responsibilities include preparing syllabi, developing materials, and employing inclusive teaching methods across modalities (in-person, online, hybrid, or hyflex).

The role requires a Master’s Degree in Mathematics or a Master’s plus 18 graduate credits, with preference for post-secondary teaching experience and distance-learning familiarity.

Qualifications

• Required Education and Experience: Master’s Degree in Mathematics or Master’s Degree plus 18 graduate credits in Mathematics; Minimum Equivalency: none
• Preferred Qualifications: Teaching post-secondary experience; Experience with media and distance learning; Teaching philosophy aligned with DACC mission; Bilingual English/Spanish considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in assigned courses following the master syllabus, outcomes, and department guidelines
• Prepare and maintain course syllabi, develop instructional materials, and design assessments
• Engage students with inclusive teaching; provide timely feedback and foster a supportive classroom environment
• Teach in-person, online, hybrid, or hyflex modalities; may include evenings and weekends as needed
• Evaluate student performance, maintain records of grades and attendance, and communicate with students outside class times
• Participate in orientation sessions, professional development, or departmental training
