Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a dedicated Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer Specialty to join the team. This part-time day shift role supports high-quality obstetric imaging at a leading Northern Virginia healthcare campus.

The successful candidate will hold OB/GYN ARDMS certification, complete the NT program within 1 month, and have at least two years of hospital or clinic experience in maternal-fetal sonography, ensuring patient safety and accurate imaging in a busy maternity

Qualifications

• BLS certification required at start
• Successful completion of Inova NT Program within 1 month
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - OB/GYN (ARDMS)
• Two years of hospital or doctor’s office experience in specialized maternal-fetal sonography
• Degree from an accredited sonography training program

Responsabilités

• Identifies patients and files with high accuracy and tracks patients per department procedures.
• Participates in department/hospital performance improvement initiatives and meetings.
• Demonstrates patient safety in the department with appropriate safety measures.
• Reports and documents adverse or unsafe conditions and logs incidents accordingly.
