Job summary

Qualifications

• Prefer at least one year of experience in shipping, receiving, order picking, logistics, distribution, warehousing or inventory management.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Driver's license required; Chauffeur's license at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Verify receipt of items against packing slip and checks in items against purchase orders.
• Enter inventory received into database for tracking.
• Process returned items for shipping and schedules pick up.
• Investigate and troubleshoot any received goods for issues/problems.
• Monitor, stock and transport supplies and/or equipment for the organization; ensure timely delivery of stock/inventory.
• Perform inventories and use par level reports to maintain warehouse stock; support other departments.
• Assist in unloading and sorting incoming supplies; verify quantities and check for damage.
• Notify the Ministry Service Center of discrepancies or damaged goods; file damage claims.
• Receive and process FedEx, UPS and express packages; prioritize rush items.
• Match deliveries to purchase orders and generate receiving reports.
• Deliver freight to locations and assist with put-away during high census periods.
• Handle special purchase items with recipient authorization for release.
