Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty – Massage Therapy at the Metropolitan Campus. This part-time, non-union faculty role is filled on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year; interviews will be conducted accordingly.

The successful candidate will teach a full range of lecture and lab courses in massage therapy theory, practice, and clinical application, preparing students for both therapeutic and relaxation massage techniques while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a licensed massage therapist with therapeutic and relaxation massage.
• Licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio (or eligible for licensure by start date).
• Out-of-state candidates must have held licensure at least 3 years, pass the MBLEx, and obtain Ohio licensure prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of credit courses in massage therapy theory, techniques, and clinical practice.
• Prepare and deliver lectures, labs, and learning activities aligned with outcomes.
• Develop syllabi, assignments, and instructional handouts.
• Evaluate and grade students’ work and maintain course records.
• Provide academic support and feedback to students.
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development.
• Accompany students to off-site clinical or practicum activities when required.
