Korwitts Chiropractic Center in Downers Grove is seeking an experienced massage therapist for a part-time role. Shifts include Mondays 2-7 PM, Tuesdays 8 AM-Noon, and Saturdays 8 AM-12 Noon. You will assess client needs and apply appropriate massage techniques to support the treatment plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of work experience as a massage therapist.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a massage therapy program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate each client’s physical condition, stress level, and medical history to determine the most effective types of massage for their course of treatment.
• Treat clients safely and effectively using the appropriate therapeutic massage techniques that meet their needs.
• Support a positive working environment for both clients and staff through relationship building and team development.
• Offer supplementary services or products that complement the client’s treatment plan.
• Offer general wellness maintenance advice to clients such as stretching and strengthening techniques.
