Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Massage Therapy school required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a spa setting preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Must meet state requirements for certifications and/or licensure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and positive service approach.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide various types of massage to clients.
• Ensure timely start and completion of appointments.
• Demonstrate massage to attract clients and promote services.
• Assist in sales of spa services and products.
• Support spa marketing and promotions.
• Maintain a clean and orderly massage room.
• Fill in as attendant, answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Practice safety and sanitation standards.
• Be proficient with core business software as related to duties.
• Be flexible with center hours, schedules and appointments.
