Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a part-time Marketing Intern in Wisconsin (Elkhorn). The role supports the Marketing Coordinator and gains hands-on experience across social media, content creation, and marketing operations while continuing education.

Approximately 15–25 hours per week with a flexible schedule between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday–Friday. The position offers exposure to digital content, print materials, events, and growth within the marketing team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Business, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, or similar tools is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative, organized, dependable, and willing to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating social media content, including photography, short‑form video, graphics, and written captions.
• Edit and prepare videos, photos, and other digital content for use across marketing channels.
• Assist with creating and updating flyers, recruiting materials, signage, presentations, and other print or digital materials.
• Help coordinate and maintain branded apparel, promotional items, and related inventory.
• Organize and maintain marketing files, photos, videos, templates, and other digital assets.
• Support trade shows, career fairs, recruiting activities, community events, and other company events.
• Assist with preparing event materials, displays, promotional items, and event‑related content.
• Monitor basic social media engagement and analytics.
• Contribute ideas for social media, video, recruiting, events, and other marketing initiatives.
• Support other marketing projects and activities as assigned.
