Job summary

Kean University invites adjunct applications for Management courses to be taught at the Union campus, Jersey City or Kean Ocean Campus. The positions are non-tenure track and require a master's degree in a related field with teaching experience; candidates with an ABD, Ed.D., or a Ph.D.

are encouraged to apply. Adjuncts are paid per credit according to the collective bargaining agreement, with rates of $2,100 per credit in Sept 2025 and $2,225 per credit from Sept 2026, plus an additional $75

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field and teaching experience unless otherwise indicated.
• ABD, Ed.D., Ph.D. or other acceptable disciplinary doctorate encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in management at the Union campus, Jersey City or Kean Ocean Campus.
• Cover topics: Principles of Management, Business Statistics, HRM, MIS, Operations, Supply Chain, Database and Data Mining.
• Provide required office hours outside class time per week.
• Adhere to part-time adjunct pay scales and collective bargaining agreement.
