Job summary

AMI is seeking a Part Time Mammography/X-Ray Technologist in Somers Point, NJ. This 24-hour-per-week role offers PTO, paid holidays, 401k and profit sharing, though health benefits are not extended for part-time staff.

The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT Mammography certification and NJ X-ray license. Prior Dexa experience is preferred and BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Mammography certification and NJ X-ray license required.
• Knowledge of radiation protection principles.
• Dexa experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography examinations according to department standards.
• Performs X-Ray examinations according to department standards.
• Adheres to safety, health and life safety practices for patients and staff.
• Provides informal supervision and guidance to non-technical staff.
• Maintains accurate office records and documentation using the department systems.
• Supports scheduling, coverage across Somers Point, Egg Harbor Township and Galloway offices.
