Job summary

The role requires strong communication, accuracy in documentation, and collaboration with radiologists to ensure timely results and patient care. Florida licensure and BLS may be required, with day-to-day responsibilities in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Mammography procedures and positions.
• Familiarity with MQSA and ACR regulations.
• Ability to learn and apply image quality and radiation safety practices.
• Excellent English communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient tracking and follow-up workflows.
• Supports breast center initiatives and accreditation prep.
• Follows protocols for patient identification, consent and time-out procedures.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Operates mammography equipment and adjusts factors for quality images.
• Collaborates with radiologists to communicate results and next steps.
