Job summary

Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA, is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a part-time, day-shift position. Under Radiologist and Lead Breast Center Nurse supervision, you will perform radiographic exams and ensure image quality for diagnosis.

Required certifications include California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification, National Registered Technologist - Mammography, and BLS. Preference for 1 year of mammography experience and MQSA familiarity.

Qualifications

California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
National Registered Technologist - Mammography upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
1 year experience in Mammography.
Experience with MQSA standards.

Responsibilities

Produces and evaluates images and related data to be used by physicians to render medical diagnosis.
Performs related clerical tasks and coordinates exams.
Under the direction of the Radiologist and Lead Breast Center Nurse, performs all professional duties involved in applying ionizing radiation at the technical level.
