Deliver high-quality, MQSA-compliant images, provide compassionate patient education, perform QA tasks, and support cross-training across modalities.**Benefits (eligibility varies based on FTE status)*** $10k sign-on bonus* Competitive pay ($46-$62/hr)* Medical/dental/vision benefits, 401k with company match, fertility and family planning benefits, CE support, tuition reimbursement, and more!**Primary Responsibilities*** Perform screening and diagnostic mammographic exams (2D and DBT) per physician orders and radiology protocols.* Obtain patient history, verify identity, explain procedures, and provide patient-centered care and education.* Achieve and document optimum image quality through correct positioning, exposure technique, and compression.* Perform daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC tests, complete QA documentation and report equipment issues.* Ensure MQSA and ACR regulatory compliance for mammography operations and recordkeeping.* Operate and maintain imaging equipment; perform routine cleaning and infection control procedures.* Process and route studies to PACS, enter patient information into risk assessment system accurately, prepare CDs/film when requested, and maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of studies.* Ability to assist Breast Surgeon and/or Radiologist in Stereotactic Biopsies and Needle Localization guidance.* Must be able to work independently and demonstrate flexibility in work assignments.* Cross-train and assist with other modalities as department needs dictate.* Maintain continuing education, certifications, and licenses; participate in departmental meetings and training.**Required Qualifications*** NYS Radiologic Technologist license.* ARRT certification with Mammography modality (M).* BLS certification* Demonstrated mammography experience preferred.
