Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties is hiring for a Part-time Maintenance position in Lakeland, Florida. As a Maintenance Worker you perform various duties including light appliance repairs, plumbing and carpentry, painting, groundskeeping, janitorial and more, working as a team to ensure the community meets quality maintenance standards set by ELS.

You may move heavy objects, drive maintenance trucks, monitor inventory, and assist with daily vendor appointments.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate light equipment.
• On-call availability for after-hours emergencies is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties including light appliance repairs, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and janitorial work.
• Maintain amenity spaces and grounds, keeping areas clean and debris-free.
• Coordinate with management and staff on daily tasks and special projects.
• Report maintenance concerns to management and follow up on repairs.
• Move heavy objects and may drive maintenance trucks between properties.
• Monitor inventory and supplies and restock as needed.
