Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a part-time Maintenance Engineer to join our Charlottesville team. You will supervise grounds, public areas and guest rooms, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure reliable hotel operations.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge.
• Two years in a hotel maintenance role preferred.
• One year of college or trade school in mechanical/electrical/technical preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain spare parts and light bulbs
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems
• Perform various other duties as assigned
