UniFirst Corporation in Nashua, NH is seeking a reliable part-time Maintenance Custodian to join our team. You will perform housekeeping and cleaning across office spaces, kitchens, restrooms, and production areas to maintain a clean, safe work environment.

The role offers a Monday–Friday, part-time schedule with on-the-job training and opportunities to grow into a full-time role. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor and be part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning materials and equipment to ensure safe usage of general cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to read, comprehend and interpret procedures and instructions in English.
• Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment and other tools as required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

Responsabilités

• Perform housekeeping and cleaning of office spaces, kitchen areas, common areas, production floor, restrooms, and parking/grounds.
• Maintain restrooms, kitchen, and breakroom areas stocked and clean.
• Remove trash and place in designated area.
• Maintain window cleanliness and dust furniture.
• Relocate light furniture as directed by supervisor.
• Replace light bulbs in overhead fixtures as directed.
• Perform cleaning in office areas, production floor, and other property areas as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

UniFirst is seeking a reliable and dedicated (Part Time) Maintenance Custodian to join our UniFirst team. As a Team Partner in the Maintenance Department, you will be performing housekeeping and cleaning activities of the facility in office spaces, kitchen areas, common areas, plant / production floor, restroom facilities, and parking lots / grounds areas.

At UniFirst we offer a part-time schedule from Monday – Friday. We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Utilize equipment to perform housekeeping operations, including wet and dry mops, brooms, floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, cleaning supplies, towels, steel wool, carts, and trash cans.
• Ensure restrooms, kitchen, and breakroom areas are cleaned and stocked.
• Remove trash and place it in the designated area.
• Maintain window cleanliness.
• Uphold furniture by dusting and ensure builders hardware is satisfactory.
• Relocate light furniture to assigned areas as directed.
• Replace light bulbs in overhead fixtures when directed.
• Perform cleaning operations in the office areas, production floor, outside of the facility, and other property areas as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
