Job description

The Maintenance employee is one of our key employees. This individual keeps everything working while allowing each resident to maintain as much of their own apartment as possible. This person is responsible for overseeing the facilities preventive maintenance program as well as serving on the several internal community committees. These include safety, supervisors and periodically regional maintenance. This position has a high degree of contact with residents. Staff in this position must provide the community with a continuous stream of information on the status of the building and equipment. They must be able to clearly and concisely transfer this information through the system to ensure proper action is taken. They serve as a member of the community care team.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED). In addition, the individual must have a background in maintenance or construction related area.
