Job summary

CenExel Clinical Research is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for part-time evening shifts in Los Alamitos, CA. The role supports daily clinical study activities, acts as a liaison with sponsors, and ensures accurate documentation throughout the research process.

Responsibilities include patient care, protocol adherence, and coordination of laboratory logistics. The position requires a current CA license and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LPN/LVN license in the state of California.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Self-motivated and able to perform tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to study participants, including monitoring vitals and labs.
• Review and execute clinical research protocols.
• Complete and maintain study documents per sponsor/site requirements.
• Assist with recruitment and scheduling of subjects as designated.
• Maintain Case Report Forms in accordance with study protocol.
• Communicate effectively with sponsor representatives and maintain logs and inventory.
• Attend training and staff meetings; ensure safety and compliance throughout the study.
