Job summary

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio, TX and Miraval Austin Resort and Spa in Austin, TX are seeking a Part-time Massage Therapist. You will deliver massage therapy and bodywork, learn Miraval modalities, and provide a nurturing guest experience in a luxury spa environment.

Requirements include a Texas state license, CPR/First Aid, and at least two years of spa experience. Open evenings, weekends, and holidays; shift lengths vary with service types.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Texas State Massage Therapy license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
• Ability to perform a variety of 20/50/75/80/100-minute services with clean up times varying from 10 to 20 minutes depending on service length.
• Shift lengths are 5 hours with no break, or 7 hours with minimum 30-minute break.
• Open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in massage therapy at a resort/destination spa or day spa.
• Friday - Monday availability is required.
• Possess a current CPR/First Aid certificate or can receive this certificate within 1 month of hire.
• A professional demeanor and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of massage therapy and bodywork services for guests.
• Learn treatments specific to Miraval and all pertinent product lines.
• Create a nurturing guest experience while maintaining spa standards and cleanliness.
• Demonstrate effective time management and clear communication with guests.
