Job summary

Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate LPN to join our healthcare team at the Chambers County Jail in Alabama. This is a part-time assignment with a weekend rotation, every other Saturday, Sunday & Monday, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, perform nursing assessments, monitor conditions, and document in electronic medical records. A strong team approach, reliability, and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Alabama LPN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a team.
• Correctional healthcare experience is welcome, but not required.
• A compassionate, professional approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care and completing nursing assessments.
• Administering medications and treatments.
• Monitoring patient conditions and identifying changes in health status.
• Responding to urgent and emergent healthcare needs.
