Job summary

Millcreek Behavioral Health in Fordyce, AR is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time opportunity within our residential program for youth. Shifts include day, night, and weekend rotations (2-12 hour shifts, 6:30a-6:30p or 6:30p-6:30a), with every other weekend required.

The role supports a multidisciplinary team serving children and adolescents with mental health or intellectual challenges.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• One or more years' of nursing experience within clinical area of service provided by facility preferred.
• Current LPN/LVN license as required by state.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health and administer basic care within the LPN/LVN scope of practice.
• Provide nursing care within the plan of care to meet patient needs.
• Report status changes to RNs and doctors.
• Maintain documentation of patient symptoms, responses and progress.
• Ensure safe delivery of medications per orders and policies.
