Job summary

EOSIS is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Waverly, MN to support clients in recovery from addiction and mental health challenges. Under supervision, the LPN provides licensed nursing care, administers medications, and assists with patient education and care planning.

Qualifications

• LPN license required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Must document 12 hours of co-occurring mental health and substance use training.
• Knowledge of Minnesota Department of Health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
• Provide nursing services and education to clients.
• Observe, record and report symptoms or changes in client condition.
• Obtain blood specimens by venipuncture.
• Transmit physician orders to client charts and document nursing notes.
• Participate in shift-change reports and weekly updates.
• Administer Mantoux test upon admission.
• Complete scheduled chart audits and program updates.
• Maintain compliance with health regulations.
