Job summary

Discovery Management Group in the United States is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our senior living community in Slidell, LA. You will provide nursing care according to each client’s care plan, perform health and psychosocial evaluations, and help coordinate services to promote resident well-being.

Two years of LPN experience and two years in assisted living or a nursing home are required, along with an active LPN license in good standing.

Qualifications

• Two years LPN experience required.
• Two years experience in assisted living or in a nursing home.
• Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing.
• Ability to ensure community follows all federal, state and local laws and regulations as pertains to resident services and care.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Effective organization, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to handle multiple priorities and delegate assignments.
• A dedication to seniors and their well-being is essential.
• The ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities
