Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must pass a drug screening if required.
• Able to obtain coverage through the company’s auto insurance carrier per Driver Safety Policy.
• Familiarity with the delivery territory.
• Highly detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Well-organized and able to relate to employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a driving record in good standing and is courteous to others on the road.
• Load/Unload all material safely and in accordance with company policy.
• Verify accuracy of materials delivered to customers.
• Operate company vehicles safely for deliveries to customers and other branches.
• Make on-time deliveries as scheduled.
• Keep vehicles clean and maintain a neat appearance.
• Follow OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Complete daily maintenance inspections and report issues.
