Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a skilled, experienced driver to join the Trio-Community-Meals team in Poughkeepsie. As a driver, you will transport a variety of goods to locations each day, maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

This is a part-time, onsite role with benefits. Must-haves include a valid state driver’s license for commercial vehicles/medical card, an acceptable driving record, and the ability to multitask. Nice-to-haves include at least one year of commercial driving experience.

Qualifications

• A valid state driver’s license for commercial vehicles and a DOT medical card.
• An acceptable driving record and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Nice-to-haves: At least one year’s experience driving commercially.

Responsibilities

• Transporting materials to and from assigned destinations in a safe and effective manner, complying with all DOT rules and regulations alongside state and city traffic laws.
• Complete thorough inspections of any utilized company equipment, before and after each trip.
• Keeping open communication with dispatch to ensure notification of any issues or delays on the route.
