Job summary

Wellspring Community in Castle Rock, CO seeks a Part-Time Live-In Overnight Support specialist to assist adults in our Independent Living Program during after-hours emergencies. You will live on site in a one-bedroom apartment, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with medical staff as needed.

Shifts are overnight with a rotating two-weeks-on/two-weeks-off schedule. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and professional communication, with housing included and paid response time.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience with IDD community or at-risk populations preferred.
• Experience with EHR/ electronic charting systems.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must pass background check and drug screen; DOT certification to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Respond to after-hours emergencies to ensure participant health and safety.
• Communicate with medical staff, families, and leadership as needed.
• Document calls, actions taken, and time worked accurately.
• Remain calm, professional, and prepared to respond during critical situations.
• Answer or return emergency contacts within designated timeframes.
• Log all call details and actions taken for records.
• Maintain emergency phone battery and transport readiness.
• Follow policy for sober and safe operation of duties, including driving.
• Track and log all paid response time accurately.

This is a live-in position. The selected candidate must reside on site as a condition of employment.

This is a unique live-in opportunity ideal for someone who works or attends school during the day and is looking for affordable housing with light overnight responsibilities. Most shifts are quiet, with occasional calls to support resident safety.

Position Summary: We are seeking a dependable, calm, and safety-focused On-Call Emergency Responder to support adults in our Independent Living Program during after-hours emergencies. This role includes affordable housing, paid response time, and structured on-call coverage.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Overnight Daily) from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and weekend from Friday 6:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM. Coverage for this role follows a rotating schedule of two weeks on, followed by two weeks off. Emergency on-call coverage is required during scheduled hours.
Compensation Highlights: This role includes housing assistance with a one-bedroom apartment provided in Castle Rock, CO.

• The employee rent responsibility is $950 per month, and electric, gas, water, and trash & Internet are included.
• Employees are paid for all emergency response time and clock in when taking calls, responding in person, completing follow-up, or documentation.
• In addition, employees receive a flat rate equivalent to 8 hours of pay for weekend on-call coverage, paid in addition to any hours worked responding to emergencies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience working with the IDD community or other at-risk population
• Experience working with EHR (Electronic Health Records)
• Valid Driver’s license (required)
• Proficiencyin computer skills including Microsoft Office and Electronic Charting Systems.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and obtain DOT Certification.
