Job summary

Cub Hastings Wine and Spirits is seeking a part-time Liquor Clerk to provide courteous customer service, stock liquor, and ensure compliance with state and local liquor regulations. The role requires reliable weekend/evening availability and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities include operating scanners and registers, handling special orders, keeping shelves neat, and closing the store securely.

Qualifications

Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.).
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Memorization, reading, writing and math.
The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.
Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Must be 21 years of age and older.

Responsibilities

Stocks liquor supplies.
Provides courteous customer service.
General cleaning of shelves and other store areas.
Knows all laws and regulations pertaining to liquor sales.
Able to handle special orders, such as kegs, and have appropriate equipment ready for pickup.
Close and secure gates at end of day.
Be able to work independently.
