Job summary

Wings ‘N More Restaurants in College Station, TX is seeking a part-time Cook to join our back-of-house team. You will prepare menu items to ensure hot, fresh, and high-quality wings each day, scan orders, and help maintain a clean, organized kitchen.

You will be responsible for safe cooking procedures, packaging orders neatly, and presenting wings well for guests. The role requires lifting up to 60 lbs and a collaborative shift with other team members.

• Quickly scan and comprehend the order tickets and abbreviations.
• Use good judgment to know when Wings are “perfectly” done
• Filter and freshen the fryer shortening daily.
• Practice safe cooking procedures
• Properly package the orders into the final container.
• Provide a nice presentation of wings in the packaging.
• Know, thoroughly understand and execute ongoing cleaning procedures for their position and shift.
• Assist in unloading delivery boxes. Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
• Assist in keeping kitchen clean throughout the shift.
• Clean at closing.
• Assist other employees as needed.
• Ensure that each guest has a positive, long lasting impression of our restaurant’s experience.
