Job summary

WellStone in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a part-time night shift on Saturdays and Sundays, 7:30pm–7:30am. Responsibilities include vital signs, discharge planning, medication monitoring, and overseeing a Behavioral Aide within a 16-bed locked facility.

Requirements include an active Alabama LPN license, 2+ years nursing experience preferred, strong communication skills, and CPR/SAMA certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Administer injections and document in EMR.

Job Description: The Licensed Practical Nurse will evaluate our patients for emergent care needs and support our therapeutic team within patient treatment plans. Documenting the medical progress and notes while keeping up with all state and federal regulation.
