Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Library Science preferred.
• Experience teaching in a school setting is helpful.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers across grades and disciplines.
• Understanding of ethics and confidentiality in information use.
• Proficiency with information technology and educational technology tools.
• Experience with academic research databases and digital library resources.
• Ability to maintain and develop the library’s digital resources and online presence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty to promote literacy and research instruction.
• Develop and manage library collections and digital resources.
• Teach information ethics, source evaluation, and citation practices.
• Support students’ inquiry and independent study in a welcoming library.
• Maintain library operations and collaborate with the Library Facilities Manager.
