Job summary

CT State Community College is seeking part-time adjunct lecturers to teach courses across Liberal Arts and Education. The ideal candidate will inspire the next generation of students and contribute to a diverse, engaging learning environment.

Classes may be taught on ground, online synchronously or asynchronously, or as hybrid. Instructors maintain student records and may teach up to 8 credits per semester within the CSCC system, with continuous recruitment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in the subject matter or related field.
• Ability to work with diverse student populations.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned course(s) in accordance with approved course descriptions and class schedules.
• Evaluate student learning outcomes and provide feedback.
• Provide student mentoring and academic advising.
• Develop curriculum and periodically review instructional materials.
