Lecturer openings in English. Instructors will teach primarily composition and critical thinking courses, with an emphasis on argumentative writing. There may also be openings in general education literature, humanities survey courses, and technical/professional writing courses.

Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Newly hired lecturers with terminal degrees are placed in Range 3; others in Range 2. Starting salaries usually at or near the minimum of the range. Salaries are prorated based on units assigned and paid in six monthly payments per semester.
