Northeastern University's College of Professional Studies invites applicants for a part‑time faculty position to teach Applied Machine Intelligence courses within the Master of Professional Studies Analytics program.
The Master of Professional Studies in Analytics seeks part‑time faculty to teach courses across the program with a special emphasis on applied machine learning, artificial intelligence, and experiential network addressing business challenges in the industry.
Instructional areas include, but are not limited to, analytics, probability and statistics, data exploration, data visualization, and predictive analytics. The Applied Machine Intelligence courses offer a multi‑disciplinary, experience‑based approach that prepares students to innovate within the rapidly growing field of artificial intelligence through courses and projects focusing on applied machine learning, artificial intelligence, data management, data analysis and data visualization that help students address business issues in any industry.
Minimum qualification: terminal degree in an aligned discipline and analytics/artificial intelligence industry experience.
Preference for candidates with a Ph.D. in a science field or similar.
Demonstrated teaching, coaching, or training experience is required, with a history of successful teaching (online/on‑ground) at the graduate level strongly preferred.
This position will report to the Program Lead in the Master of Professional Studies in Applied Machine Intelligence.
