Property Overview

Grove Point Apartments is a 312-unit community located in Norcross, GA. We are currently interviewing experienced leasing professionals for part-time positions, focusing on apartment leasing, marketing, resident retention, and relationship building.

Position Summary

The Leasing Consultant conducts tours, manages the leasing process, executes marketing strategies, plans resident events, and maintains positive resident relations.

Responsibilities
  1. Interview prospective residents and assess their needs and qualifications.
  2. Guide prospects through model and vacant apartments, discussing layout, amenities, and lease terms.
  3. Follow up consistently with prospects.
  4. Process applications and lease renewals in accordance with policies.
  5. Coordinate move-ins and complete all related paperwork.
  6. Inspect units prior to move-in and ensure readiness.
  7. Follow up with new residents post-move-in.
  8. Regularly inspect premises and coordinate maintenance as needed.
  9. Plan and coordinate resident events.
  10. Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
  11. Assist with marketing duties, including surveys and resident notices.
  12. Adhere to all company policies, including safety and Fair Housing standards.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
  1. Preferred: One year of leasing experience.
  2. Up to one year of related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience.
  3. Experience with virtual and in-person tours preferred.
  4. Knowledge of property management platforms (e.g., Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM) preferred.
  5. Marketing skills, including social media and resident events, preferred.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
  7. A valid driver’s license and auto insurance may be required, depending on the property.
Physical and Environmental Demands

Candidates must be able to perform physical activities such as walking, standing, climbing stairs, and lifting light weights. Good sensory skills and the ability to work indoors and outdoors are required. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for individuals with disabilities.
