Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to lead in the absence of Store Manager. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, merchandise presentation, and loss prevention. You will help with plan-o-grams, stock shelves, and assist customers while maintaining a clean, secure store environment.

Responsibilities include unloading deliveries, operating the register, and supporting front-end operations. High school diploma or equivalent and some supervisory exposure preferred.

Competenze

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations including percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.
• Knowledge of plan-o-gram merchandising guidance.

Mansioni

• Unload trucks and follow store processes.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock merchandise, rotate and face shelves, and build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Greet customers and help locate merchandise.
• Operate cash register and collect payments.
• Maintain clean front end and set up displays.
• Open/close the store under Area Manager direction.
