Job summary

USC Gould School of Law is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach LAW-310 Global Justice for Mass Atrocities and Genocide to undergraduate students. The instructor will develop the course this fall 2026 and teach Spring 2027 (Jan 11–Apr 30) in person on USC's campus (UPC). Availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:00–3:50pm is required.

A PhD or JD is required; teaching experience is preferred; adjuncts may teach one course per semester and must complete required trainings.

Qualifications

• PhD or JD degree is required.
• Experience in the subject matter and preferably teaching experience.
• Candidates must be available to teach on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 to 3:50pm.

Responsibilities

• Teach LAW-310 Global Justice for Mass Atrocities and Genocide to enrolled undergraduate students.
• Develop the course for Fall 2026 and teach during Spring 2027 (Jan 11–Apr 30, 2027; exams May 5–12).
• Teach in-person on USC’s campus (UPC) and adhere to adjunct lecturer training requirements.
